KC Needs Our PURRS & PRAYERS
Mom Paula has heard from ML and shares this with us, “KC isn’t doing well. The vet says she has a blockage in her sinuses and the required surgery could kill her. ML doesn’t think KC will be with us much longer.”
That’s all we know at this point. We will share any more information as it becomes available to us.
Please ramp up the PURRS & PRAYERS for KC.

Purrrrrring for KC. Hang in there, kitteh.
We are all purring and praying for KC and ML … we are in shock, but that just makes us purr and pray even harder …

Obviously I don’t know the extent of KC’s problem, but I’ve had the same type of thing with my kitty Max for years. To listen to him breathe you’d think he has pneumonia or, at best, an awful cold that never goes away. It can be really scary and upsetting. However, his lungs and chest are clear – the problem is a partial blockage of his sinuses. It’s been that way for about 7 of his 11 years and just continues on unchanged. He sneezes often throughout the day. There is kitty snot (pardon the gross word) to be cleaned off everything constantly. He snores, he makes strange wheezing sounds, and for some reason he is unable to meow or purr, but he just keeps on doing his thing. Max can’t have the operation because he is FIV+ and also has a very small heart, besides being a cat who is easily stressed in the first place. The vet advised not to risk it. Again, I don’t know specifics about KC’s blockage, but I wanted to mention Max’s condition just to say that it is something that can be lived with for many years. Disturbing, yes, but not fatal. I pray that KC will be well and will live a long and happy life. If anyone knows ML’s current email address, please let her know about Max. Maybe This will be something KC can just live with the way he does.
Karen

Sending lots of purrs for ML and KC. We hope that this can be manged like Max’s from the comment above. Our Ivy has a issue in her nose also and breathes hard like she is having a hard time but she too has lived with this for a long time. She is FIV so we just let this be. It never gets worse and she seems to be OK with it.
