Ask Fiona - What is a Binkie?

At the last couple of parties, several kitties have asked me what a binkie is. A Binkie is a bunny rabbit jump of joy. We do it when we are really happy. I’ve found an instructional video on the bunny 500 and binkies to share - click here. The Binkie is about half-way through the video when the bun leaps and twists in the air.

Also - huge huge HUGE thanks to everyone who helped me with my AIDS Hop goal. Together we raised 1,200.00! Binkie by the blog to see photos from the AIDS Hop.

Happy Lunar New Year all!

Today is the first day of the New Year. It is the Year of the Boar - I think that means we get to eat as much ham as we like this year!

In China, the Boar ( è±¬ ) is associated with fertility and virility. To bear children in the year of the pig is considered very fortunate, for they will be happy and honest.

If you’re in the SF Bay Area - maybe we’ll see you at the parade!

It appears that DP Blogger is giving people problems with word verification this morning. So if you have word verification enabled for your Blogger blog, and aren’t receiving any comments, that might be why. Eventually the word verification seems to "take" but it can take many, many tries before it goes through.

Make sure you check our Tara, Princess Meezer’s Thursday Thirteen post. She is educating us once again on Cat Eating Coyotes (CECs).
