Cat Blogosphere

As you all might know this is the second weekend of the month and it normally would be Sher’s (of What Did You Eat) weekend to host WCB. But this time it is a very special WCB ’cause of Upsie’s recent passing away Sher needed a break and so we - Katie, Mom Robyn and Momma Astrid - thought this would be the perfect weekend to say thank you to Sher for all her support in hosting WCB every  month and to show her that we are thinking of her.

So this WCB is dedicated to Sher and her wonderful angel kitties Upsie and Sundance and her two new kitties Pumpkin and Laura.

A personal note from Momma Astrid:
Sher and Upsie have been - to me - the most constant regulars logging ever since I joined it a few years ago. I can’t imagine strolling through the entries of a weekend without visiting Sher and Upsie. They always were a highlight to me. When Sundance joined them it was even more a delight to read their entries and my heart broke for Sher when I got so sick and left her for the Rainbow Bridge. Now Upsie left too. It’s a hard time right now for sweet Sher who is such a wonderful person and I truly hope that Pumpkin and Laura can ease her loss a bit. My heart will always ache a bit when I visit What did you eat from now on because I’ll miss Upsie (and Sundance that is) but I am sure I will leave with a smile on my face ’cause I read the wondeful stories about Pumpkin and Laura. Thank you Sher - you are wonderful!

Our special furriend Stiffler broke his leg :(  His  mommy explains how it happened.

There’s cute babie Kitties over at Sleeping Mommy and they needs names!

Samawowow is remembering and praying.

Samantha Black is trying to get Mr. Tigger to open the door so I can go out and play without Mom! He is not cooperating with me!!

Mog says Meowza pics are better than doing the dishes. We agree!

Luna over at CatSynth is taking it easy. Very catlike Luna. Way to go :) 

Katie and Puddy at A Byootaful Life are thinking of Sher and other friends.

From Katie: There has been a lot of sadness around the cat blogosphere recently, with Sher of What Did You Eat? sadly having to say goodbye to her cats Sundance in August last year, and Upsie in March this year. Sher is a regular host of weekend cat blogging and we wanted to dedicate this edition to Sundance and Upsie’s memory. They are missed dearly and we are glad that Sher has so many beautiful memories and photographs to remember them by.

From all the Cat Blogosphere: Sher we are saddened by your loss of Sundance and Upsie. We are very glad to know you.

The WCB that almost didn’t happen.

WCB this week is brought to you by "AAAAAAAAAAAGH my email backup program didn’t work and I lost all my email" Mom Robyn, the Hotties, and the new pee see.  That means that we have no Photoshop yet, so we don’t have a lotta photos. Ohhhhhhh well. At least we meded it online! hehehe

Artsy Catsy is having an urgent fundraiser for Lilly Lu and Moki. 

Parker had a Mopey kind of Monday 

Bustopher and Harmon and Kate are very sad. They’ve learned another feline friend is ill.

Amar and Luna at CatSynth were really sad to read about Upsie this morning, too. We left a special spot for her and sher in our WCB post as well.

Our feline furriend that Bustopher and Harmon and Luna and everybody menshuns is our sweet furriend Upsie and we’s furry sad to hear she’s feelin so bad. 

Meowza over at Mog’s is just so cute. Really!

A PARCEL ARRIVED at My Cats and Funny Stories! What could it be?

At the Taylor CatSSSSS, Rhymin-Sam wrote poems for both Mommie ML and KC. 

Bonnie is in a sink, literally and states she is "…still sinking", to which Victor glibly asks "vut are you sinkin about?". Therein lies a tail, er, tale.

Alexi wrote: At Krasota Castle, we love drink out of the sink!

Willow is so lady-like as she plays in her sink.
