Mom Cindy’s Dad is having heart catherization to look for a blockage. The family is worried. Please send purrs and purrayers.

Auntie El (Cousin Trooper’s Mom) is having a heart catherization to find out how they are going to fix a problem with her heart.  We’re hoping she isn’t going to have to have surgery and we know how the power of the purr can help. Thank you soooo much. ~Sniffie and the Florida Furkids

Mom Carolina’s best kitty, Bugsy, is scheduled for surgery on Monday. He has a tumor on a muscle, and she is very worried. At the same time, Lucky (!) has to have extensive dental surgery. Mom Carolina is feeling very lonely and scared, these kitties are her only family. Please stop by and let her know she isn’t alone — not with all of the cat blogosphere around. ~KC (pee ess: Iffen you are on Catster, go visit Bugsy and Lucky there!)

Matt Snow from Ex-Boyfriend always donates 5% of his sales to the Maryland SPCA. But in honor of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month coming up in April, from now until April 17th he is donating 100% of proceeds from his colorful, cute, practical animal-themed key chain bottle openers! They are only $6.50 and he is throwing in free shipping!

The Fresh Air Fund is in need of host families for this summer. Host families are volunteers who open their hearts and homes to children from the city to give a fresh air experience to disadvantaged children from the inner-city. Even if you can’t host a child yourself, just posting a mention of this program on your site or as a tweet would be helpful to spread the word.
