We’ve had emails that the Cat Blogosphere site may be infected with a virus.
It seems to be affecting those using Internet Explorer.
Those using FireFox and Chrome may not experience problems.
I haf contacted two Internet Wizards fur help… Mog and Mom Robyn.
Wanted effurryone to know that we’s aware of tha problem.

I didn’t get the emails but found I couldn’t navigate the site. Server errors. There were a bunch of files that were updated yesterday. I overwrote them manually and it is working for me now. Let me know if there are any more problems. ~ Mog

Blogging & Tweeting Friends Lost All In Fire Thursday Night

Criz’s cat Jimmy had emergency surgery and is at the vet’s with FLUTD, the same thing that killed two of his brothers. ~Jan’s Funny Farm

Some of you already know Criz of Criz Cats Sanctuary.
His beautiful boy Jimmy is now fighting FLUTD, which claimed the lives of brothers Jerry & Jeremy in 2011.
Criz has learned that his former “money-faced” vet prescribed ineffective vitamins instead of medication for Jerry and Jeremy and that is probably why they died.
Fortunately, he has a caring new vet who is fighting to save Jimmy.
Criz spends all of his money on cats.
Not only does he care for his beautiful cat family, but he also is the only help for local strays.
The CB will be starting an auction to help Criz and the cats on Tuesday, February 28th.

Update: Whitey has a feeding tube and is at home now! So far so good. Yay, Whitey! Keep those purrs, grrrs and purrayers coming for him!

Please add Whitey from The Daily G’s to the prayers list. He has been sick and they hoped he was doing better but today his mom posted “Just talked to Dr. Tad ( the Vet). I’m bringing him in in a few minutes. He’ll have surgery at 2 to put in the feeding tube and will be spending the night. I’m so worried. This is the last thing we can do. Praying it works” on Facebook. So if anyone can spare purrs please send them to Whitey. ~Pixel from yesterday’s comments.

Madison is very sick. It happened rather fast, in that he suddenly stopped eating his food and weight loss was rapid. I caught him eating a small amount of kitty litter last week, and immediately called our Vet. Blood work was done and everything came back good so this means his organs are not shutting down (no sign of Kidney Failure, or Liver Failure). But he lost 5lbs in a very short time, which could be signs of anything from an infection to cancer. He is very lethargic and is now on medicine that I hope will make this all better, but I am very concerned. Anytime a cat stops eating, it is not a good sign. He was doing great a few weeks ago, I just can’t believe how fast this came on him.  Abigail stays with him in the living room at night and he sits in the bathroom all day long. I am starting to feed him water with a syringe so he stays hydrated. We will be going back to the Vet tomorrow or Monday for a follow up and to discuss options. His age (15) and FIV positive status are not working in his favor. My heart aches. ~Lisa, Abigail and Madison
