Update: Cyndi just called and Opus’s blood work checked out OK. The vet did say that he was a little dehydrated and is giving him something for that. The vet said that she has done all that she can do as far as tests go and the next step will be to send him on to a specialist to see what is going on. Cyndi is just right now focused on getting him home from the vet and mulling over her and Opus’s options. ~Steph

Opus is still working with the vet and his human on his medications. He visited the vet today and some medications that he is on is being stopped and they are trying new things for him. He is continuing to lose weight. The vet wants to know if there is an improvement in him in the next week. If not then maybe more tests to be done. Keep those purrs coming for him to rally and start to gain some much needed weight. ~Gracie

Chrystal’s Cat House is overloaded with healthy, adorable cats and kittens. Check out these posts in particular: Cathouse Kittens and Crowded Cathouse. I was going to put a couple of photos here, but there are just too many to pick from. As Chrystal says, you can’t go wrong with any of these cats. Chrystal and her amazing daughters not only give the cats their basic needs of medical attention, food, shelter, but they play with them and get them used to human contact… and now they are begging for a home of their own. Stop by the blog and take a look, the side bar is loaded with photos. Many of them are not available, having found great homes. But there are so many wanting and needing a human for their own. We will help get these kittens and cats to their new homes, if possible, if we have to hold an auction to raise the funds.

Beau’s Mom Cathy is home and recovering.

Opus is still in need of your purrs as he isn’t wanting to cooperate in taking his medicine that will help him with losing weight. His mom is going to get additional advise from the vet today to see what can be done to get the much needed medicine in him that will help him get better. ~Gracie

Chica is home! She may be getting better, but she has a mountain of vet bills. Wildcat Woods Vintage Treasures has lots of unique items for sale and all the money goes to pay Chica’s vet bills and meds.We were able to get some really nice things at a great price and help with their vet bills as well.

Pika will have surgery at the end of this month and needs purrs, grrrs and purrayers. ~Kathy & Sheldon
