Our non-profit, no-kill cat shelter in Spring Valley, CA will host our 43rd-anniversary Open House and Fundraiser at our shelter (9031 Birch St.) on June 5th, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Attendees will help many unwanted cats and kittens while enjoying their company with other feline fans. They’ll purr-use the shelter’s kitten center, adult areas and retirement home environmentally enriched with an overhead walkway, “lifeguard tower,” “volcano and lava” with pressure-controlled heating pads, and “Retirement Bay boat dock” anchoring litterbox “love boats” – as they win raffle and silent auction prizes over refreshments. Please help prevent killing of strays/ferals in southern NJ!
Laurie, a friend of The Happy Cat Family, has been working to help find new homes for about 50 stray and feral cats in southern NJ living near a wildlife preserve. If you need details, please Contact Happy Cat Family and she will put you in contact with Laurie. Apart from homes for the kitties, the project needs financial support – anything will help!

Please take a minute to read this brief article on The South Jersey Feral Cat Relocation Project which explains why this is happening. They can also receive donations. Keep in mind any cats not relocated in time (the exact deadline remains unknown, but the pressure is on!) will be trapped and put down. If you know of anyone in NJ, DE, MD, or Eastern PA that could provide a home for some of them (we want to move them in minimums of two), again, please contact Happy Cat Family. Thank you!
