It’s been a day wif some good news….

Little Shell jumped up on her mommy’s bed… and she is getting a tummy. Now she has discovered dry food… with only two teeth left. Look at that feisty little fighter! What a difference a few days of love and care can make. A ChipIn has been set up for Shell to offset the huge vet bills. Any amount is greatly appreciated. You do know how she got the name Shell? It was because they said all that was left was “a shell of a cat”. Well, this shell is coming back!!!!!

Amy & The House of Cats commented that they just saw some good news at Kika’s blog – she is doing much better! We are thankful to the CB for sending purrs!

Mickey could use some prayers ‘n purrs. He will see the vet again this week for more tests and maybe a biopsy. ~Aunti Nina

This may be one of our oldest Cat Blogosphere events.
It was founded by none other than Derby, who has founded many Cat Blogosphere events.
Mom Robyn & Sanjee also played an impawtant part in locating Squillions and later finding a colony of almost extinct Vsquillions.
Gracie & I run the CB Shelter for VSquillions.

Please purr and pray for Maggie, one of the three kitties who own the people at Animal Shelter Volunteer Life (i.e. she is NOT a PAWS shelter cat). It has been determined she has a tumor in her tummy. No matter what happens, we will make our decisions based on what is best for Maggie, and with concern for her comfort and quality of life. We (Dad Kevin, Mom Tracey, and brofurs Sammy and Moosey) love Maggie so much, and are hoping, purring and praying for the best. ( Let’s send sweet Maggie tha biggest, loudest purrs we can. Lucky is not producing red cells, but I am NOT putting him down yet. I am trying to do all kinds of research to see what I can do for him. He already feels better from the medicine yesterday. Sammy & Andy have a visitor, a sweet little tortie named Shelly. Mom Judi is slowly winning her over. There is a Chip-In for Shelly’s first vet bills on Auntie Deb’s blog, because we all know Mom Judi never asks for anything. Please help little Shelly get a great start at her new life! Update: They are up to 96% of their goal. Way to go! We just got an urgent plea from one of our Facebook friends about St Francis Animal Rescue Center in SC being in big trouble. The message said that Animal control is trying to shut them down and kill the 100 + cats located there. They recently hired a lawyer and are engaged in a legal battle but could really use some help. They have a Chipin account set up to help cover their expenses and a Facebook page which tell people all about what has been going on. ~Moki & Mom Crystal

We, Us4 Cats, are having a fund raiser for the adoption of our little boy from Ethiopia. To raise funds, we want to make Cat Blogosphere T-Shirts in two styles: (1) a fabric cat face with the word Blogosphere embroidered underneath and (2) identical to the first except with your cats name embroidered on it! We have now received 20 out of 22 votes. We only need 2 more votes to proceed. Please vote on our blog sidebar, click Here! We are having trouble getting direct email with those who want a shirt. We must receive a direct email with your name, url, and shirt selection to compose a list to refer to when making the shirts.
