The Cat Blogosphere is crying.
The Meezers put it very well: “This is one of the worst days ever… we all need to just sit, hold hands, and cry.“
We are saddened to report that our beloved Molly ran to the Bridge from Krasota Castle early this morning. We are stunned, heart-broken, and all our eyes are leaking. We mourn the passing of all our friends and cry for their families. ~Alexi, the beans, and the other Krasota Castle cats
Another CB legend, Luxor, just ran off to the Bridge.
Perhaps Fat Eric wanted some company.
Don’t forget sweet baby Wintergreen, who went to the Bridge just before Eric. Her family has a special tribute today. They are really hurting, she was abandoned, badly injured and had a whole new life ahead of her.
Would anyone be up for a Purrs Circle via a Chat Room?
The Cat Blogosphere has lost a legend.
Saying Farewell to a dear friend ~ Fat Eric

Fat Eric or Prince Eric (as KC called him), was helped to the Bridge yesterday. Please send purrs and purrayers to Mom Kate and family.

Boo the cat has been rescued and spent two weeks in a shelter. He’s now in a new home with a loving owner and two cat brothers. He’s going to have his FeLv tests soon so paws crossed he’s negative.
Update: http://ahomeforboo.blogspot.com/2010/08/new-beginning.html#comment-form
If any cats or humans with experience of cats with FeLv/Fiv could leave some encouraging comments then they could be passed on to his new human maybe?
Thanks
Whicky

Hearts are breaking all across the CatBlogosphere with the news of Fat Eric’s passing. I know that everyone sends all their hugs and purrs to Kate at this time. Fat Eric was one of the first kitties Rusty met when he joined the blogosphere.
Fly free, Eric. You will be greatly missed.

We just can’t believe that Luxor is gone too. Purrhaps he and Eric are together. We think so.
August 18th, 2010 at 4:07 pm
We totally agree with what the Meezers said ?
August 18th, 2010 at 4:08 pm
Sorry, that question mark on our previous comment was supposed to be a heart, duh to our Momma!
August 18th, 2010 at 4:53 pm
We are dumbstruck.
Luxor joining Fat Eric in his travels to the Bridge creates heartache for us; yet two of Our Blogosphere Heroes are free of the pain and illness of Our Earthly plane. This at least is something to rejoice in.
Famblys of Eric and Luxor will be bathed in prayers, purrs and hugs for healing, because caring for one another is what the Cat Blogosphere does best.
The Meezers thoughts are Ours as well.
August 18th, 2010 at 5:29 pm
Our hearts are breaking over the news of both Eric and Luxor. They will both be missed very much.

We are devastated. Elegant Luxor, poor tiny Wintergreen looking forward to hope and love and our beloved Eric.
The Meezers said it best. Cuddle your loved ones close tonight.
Love to all.

Mom says she is going to snuggle even more with us tonight. We think a Purr Circle is a great idea. We all need each other tonight.

More sad news. Our beloved Molly died unexpectedly today. Our hearts are broken and all our eyes are leaking. We are stunned and the deaths of all our other friends are too much. for us to take.
August 18th, 2010 at 6:47 pm
We can’t take any more heartbreak, we have shed more tears today than we can count …
Our Momma has hugged and kissed us a lot today, and we hope that all of you get lots of hugs and kissies too, furriends.

There seems to be a huge disturbance in the “Force” today. It’s an absolutely horrible day for members of the Cat Blogosphere. We’re really still on hiatus, because our human’s dad is visiting, but we’ve been skimming through Google Reader and trying to stay up-to-date with the news here.
We’re sending everyone who is grieving many purrs and much healing Light (we’ve been to the blogs to offer condolences) and are wishing everyone in the CB, feline and human, universal Blessings and Peace.
August 18th, 2010 at 7:20 pm
OH NO….we are so sad to read about Molly. Such a sad day on the CB.
August 18th, 2010 at 7:36 pm
We’re so sorry to hear about Molly as well. Plus, we heard that Squeaky, an IMOM Pet In Need that our Lady’s been following, has just joined the rest of our friends at the bridge. Such a very sad day.

Amongst all the pain, some good news. Boo (who now goes by Johnny) has a new home, and he is healthy. No infections, no feline aids, no leukemia.
See A Home for Boo for the details.
