Coming TOMORROW, August 8th – WORLD CAT DAY. Last year, lots & lots of cat bloggers celebrated this special day (even though in many ways, we celebrate our cats day in and day out…) with special stories, special photographs, poems or whatever comes to mind. And our woofie friends can always give us a special tail wag or paws up that day. Our mom (Marilynn) went to visit her daughter Anne yesterday and will see her again this afternoon. She is really doing well after surgery on Thursday — already getting out of bed and sitting in a chair for a while, watching some TV, and very, very lucid! She’s also still quite sleepy, of course, still coming out from under all the longer-term effects of anesthesia.
Anyway, our mom says Anne’s recovering well, and that makes us happy, too. Maybe our mom will be able to be at home with us more — but then she brings two of the grandbeans with her. They keep us hopping!
Our mom thanks everyone who has been purring and praying for Anne. It’s all very much appreciated! =)
