The Four Cats of the Apocalypse! We are dedicating 4 days this week to the cats of a friend who does not blog. One went wandering years ago, the other 3 stayed around for years. She and her husband the lost 3 elderly cats aged 17 within 2 months and we want to tell their stories. Losing 3 kitties in 2 months is hard. Can there be greater names than “Plague, Pestilence, War and Famine”? Come visit their stories Monday – Thursday. Give them all the purrs you can. ~Ayla and Iza
Marzepan’s mom came home on Sunday night and they had a joyous reunion. He started eating a little better and followed the mom around the laundry. The prognosis is still poor as he is having difficult breathing from his nose cancer. The family and the vet is monitoring the situation closely. If Marzepan shows any distress, he will be helped to the Bridge. But until then, he is enjoying his remaining time with his family. The family would like to thank the kitties for their purrs which
sustained Marzepan through a most difficult time. ~Momo

Petie Update Wed: Petie is holding steady on pain meds and antibiotics. MIGHT be a tumor but vet don’t know. I’d gotten xrays already but I’m impatient & answer demanding MOL! He is definitely a fighter tho. ( @PetietheCat & His Mama )

Today’s blog contains information about when voting stops and votes will be tallied. I’ll be camping from Friday (afternoon? evening? only the Shadoe* knows because packing with my husband is… interesting. ::loving grin:: There is a reason he’s known as Dale the Snail… he’s a perfectionist!!
*Shadoe was one of my late black cats. He was slender, sleek, and went through doors without opening them! He knew everything that was going on, even if it hadn’t been said around him. One of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde. I still feel his prescience when I think of him.

My Human is embarrassingly slow and she says she’s not even exactly sure how to join or what to do next, but I finally made her sign us up to be part of the blogosphere, even though I started my blog back in April.
I’m going to make her read carefully here before she writes anything else just to make sure she doesn’t say or do anything really stupid. Sigh…Humans: Can’t live WITH them, can’t blog WITHOUT them.
