Marzepan’s mom came home on Sunday night and they had a joyous reunion. He started eating a little better and followed the mom around the laundry. The prognosis is still poor as he is having difficult breathing from his nose cancer. The family and the vet is monitoring the situation closely. If Marzepan shows any distress, he will be helped to the Bridge. But until then, he is enjoying his remaining time with his family. The family would like to thank the kitties for their purrs which
sustained Marzepan through a most difficult time. ~Momo

The Four Cats of the Apocalypse! We are dedicating 4 days this week to the cats of a friend who does not blog. One went wandering years ago, the other 3 stayed around for years. She and her husband the lost 3 elderly cats aged 17 within 2 months and we want to tell their stories. Losing 3 kitties in 2 months is hard. Can there be greater names than “Plague, Pestilence, War and Famine”? Come visit their stories Monday – Thursday. Give them all the purrs you can. ~Ayla and Iza

Sammy and Joey, two orange cats in northern Alabama must find at least a temporary home by Thursday night or they will have to go to Animal Control. They are very shy so we are afraid they will not last long. A foster home is fine and the boys do not have to be adopted together.
