My foster cat, Ollie, has decided to add Black Cat Friday as a reoccurring weekly event to his blog. Each Friday, he’ll pick out a picture of a black (or mostly black) cat with a bit of information included: cat’s name, human’s name, general location (and a bit of a story if the cat would like to add that). ~Donna & Ollie

We know this is the cat blogosphere, but we found out about a dog who needs a home. And based on the email I just got from my aunt it needs to be sooner than later. ~Amy & The House of Cats

Derry has a large vet bill, even a few dollars would make a real difference. There’s a donate button on the bloggie. We’re going to have an auction but there is a small waiting list, this has been a hard year.

Don’t forget that you can still do a July 4^th photo if you would like. There are two categories, real and virtual. The winners will be chosen by voting done by you on July 18-22. The winners in the real and virtual categories will be announced on July 25. A week long auction will take place with one super fantastic item up for bidding, July 23-31. Little Felix found himself stuck in the engine belt of a car. He is hoping someone can reach into their bag of tricks and find a way to get surgery for him. He is a little scared at first, then starts purring and purring when you handle him. Below are x-rays of his injury. He will need orthopedic surgery to repair this. If you can help him, please contact me right away. He is a little guy, probably 8-10 weeks old. He is available to rescue groups now. Location: Orange County, CA.
