Purrs for Sweet Praline’s mom. She is having her surgery on her shoulder today. There’s a problem with the AC Joint in her shoulder that was hidden from the previous MRI and surgery.

I’m trying to make one last miracle happen for Adopt A Shelter Cat Month. This kitty has all the cards stacked against her: 1) she is in a very high kill shelter, 2) she is black, and black cats almost never get adopted, even from non-kill shelters!
If she is not adopted by end of business hours on Wednesday, June 30, she will die! This is just wrong! When you click through to the link, you will see she is young, gorgeous and friendly! If any cat deserves a home, this one does.
What is needed: Above all else, we need to get her out NOW! Someone in Georgia needs to come down, pay the adoption fee and get her out. Then we need for someone anywhere to step forward and adopt her. I will be posting about her Tuesday, and I am hoping for word to get around so that someone, somewhere, will be able to take action! ~Sparkle the Designer Cat

Celebrate the fourth with your favorite photo of you embracing the fourth of July. We will accept enteries up until midnight of July 8 est. The winner will be up to you. There will be voting, only once in each category, for your favorite. The winner will be announced on July 10th. There will be a prize for the winner in each category. To enter the contest we are asking that you make a donation in any amount that you would like. The money will go to help Maxie with the health care issues due to the bad vet.
