Today is Darling Millie’s Rescue-versary! On 6/27/2006 Malcolm found Millie and took her to the vet. We love Malcolm, he is our hero! He saved Millie when no one else would. ~KC

Another New Angel At The Bridge. We had to take Keiko to emergency care yesterday.  She was not able to breathe well (using her mouth) and we could tell she was in pain… we could not let her suffer and took her in so she could be at peace. It’s not fair such a young beautiful furry baby had to leave to the bridge so soon…  I look forward to the day I can see her again; and will miss her with all my heart until then. ~Mom Tina

Much to everyone suprize Maxie is eating 100% and has no tube food no tube med’s nothing. He still has the shorten tube but I hope Dr C will find away to get it out next week. He doing great He back to his old slef almost 100% he figered out how to get his collar/ Cone off and how to get his shirts off and How to open doors how to thow a fit when not getting what he wants. Dose this most of the night. He stealing LL bed. He needs one more opraration to remove the tube the problem is the in flange in large dogs they just cut it out in small dogs and cats they can not because it can not be passed. but if there is a sturture in there she not sure she can get it out via endpopey  and will have to have major sugery. The problem now is if it come out then he need to be rushed to surgery asap to close the seal and get the flang because it would become life theartening. ~Mom Laura

The next fundraiser begins July 1st — for Maxie — will be kicked off with a photo contest. There will be two categories, real and virtual. Celebrate the fourth with your favorite photo of you embracing the fourth of July. We will accept enteries up until midnight of July 8 est. The winner will be up to you. There will be voting, only once in each category, for your favorite. The winner will be announced on July 10th. There will be a prize for the winner in each category. To enter the contest we are asking that you make a donation in any amount that you would like. The money will go to help Maxie with the health care issues due to the bad vet. We are in need of lots of $$$$ and at a later date there will be an auction too. ~Gracie, Head Auctioneer.
