A Furry Happy Purrthday to Mr. Echo!

Leigh-Ann, of Wee Paws Animal Sanctuary in Las Vegas, wants to buy the house she’s been leasing for Wee Paws for the past 10 years. The house is now up for sale and if someone else buys it, she might be forced to move and/or shut down her sanctuary. Leigh-Ann is looking for advice in securing financing for the house, or for an investor who will buy the house but allow Wee Paws to stay. Leigh-Ann can make regular rent/mortgage payments, she just wants some security for the cats! If Leigh-Ann can figure out how to buy the house she’ll turn ownership of it over to Wee Paws so it will always belong to the cats, AND she’ll more than double her permanent capacity (cat-pacity) from 24 cats to 50! My OTW has found out about two cats named Charlie who desperately need new homes! One Charlie is in Leicestershire England; 8yr old, neutered indoor/outdoor mostly white floofball, apparently fine with other cat and with dogs. One Charlie is in Fort Worth Texas, but coming to NYC in March; 3yr old, FIV+, no other health problems, former shop-cat, looks like Missy Blue Eyes. ~Jack (from the CB comments Tuesday 2/23/2010)

There is also a kitty named Grayson who needs a home – his owner passed away recently and he is 3 years old. You can read about him here (I know that he is on other sites too).

There was a new linky that came out last summer or fall and when we had to load Windows from scratch, we lost the link to the site. Does anyone remember the name of it and/or where to find it?
