A Furry 1st Happy Purrthday to Misu.
PURRS & GRRS & PURRAYERS NEEDED!!!! We need all the support we can get right now…Theodore is extremely sick and might not make it through the day…If you could post on your blog or to the CB I would be very grateful. Thanks friends, Jaime Smith
“Sheep Thrills Farm is so sad that their precious kitty Ziggy went to the rainbow bridge yesterday afternoon. He was 16 years old and sick for a few weeks now…Ziggy just could not hold on anymore and slipped up to heaven in the midst of a fierce snowstorm… If you could spare a kind comforting word for his heartbroken mommy Kathy…I would be so happy because she is a special friend.” Thank you so much, love Misses Peach
Tell the Judge how you feel about ChemNutra! February 5, 2010 Judge John T. Maughmer hands down his sentencing decision on the ChemNutra executives. In case you don’t remember, ChemNutra is the company that knowingly imported lethal vegetable proteins containing melamine that was responsible for the deaths of thousands of dog and cats in the 2007 pet food recall – beloved family pets. You have two days to send Judge Maughmer your recommendations for sentencing. Please do! ~JFF
The “Discover Your Poetic Pussycat” Challenge!
I’m issuing a challenge to the Cat Blogosphere!! Put your thoughts about all things Cat, from A TO Z, all that is good, and great, unique and wonderful, confounding, and controversial, about our species, into the lines of these simple poetic forms. Traditionally Haiku begin with a natural scene tied to a season, and Tankas also begin with an observation of a natural scene. But that’s tradition, and you don’t have to follow it, on any of these forms, if you don’t want to. Just avoid end-rhyming the lines, try to vary the rythms from line to line, and you can keep a sentence moving to the next line if you choose. Also try to avoid ending too many lines in a row with a one-syllable word. Got it? ;-D
Fin has an idea for the Cat Blogosphere to participate in Cat-O-Lympics (or Pet-O-Lympics) during the real version in February. If you have any ideas on how to organize or want to participate let us know.
On Sunday February 7… we’ll search the blogs for Missy Blue Eyes… The Zoolatry Girls, Maggy, Zoey, Ann

CCL Wendy has recently encountered problems leaving Comments on some her friends’ blogs. Blogger must have made some change that caused this to happen all of a sudden. Apparently there has been a history of this problem when the Comments Setting is set to “Embedded Below Post” (which seems to be the default setting). CCL Wendy contacted those fellow bloggers by email where she could and many of them have changed their Comments Setting to either “Full Page” or “Pop-Up Window”. This solved the problem immediately and CCL Wendy can now post comments to these blogs again. It’s likely that others may also be having this same problem. So for any of our fellow bloggers who are amenable, it would be appreciated if you would change your Comments Settings. CCL Wendy really misses being able to visit many of you and reciprocate with Comments of her own. Rest assured, she hasn’t forgotten any of you, and still visits every day to see what’s going on. Thanks for your consideration.
I just have a question. My little Rosie is very sick and has probably diabetes. She is still at the vet under perfusion. We wait for the blood analysis. Has anybody ever dealed with a diabetic cat ? Is there a solution ? or is it the end ? I am so worried! ~Gattina

Does anyone know what happened to Marks Mews? When I click on the link to their blog it says the “blog you were looking for was not found”. I wanted to check on them after losing LC and now I’m worried.

Yes, it moved here after LC died.
