The carnival only has one entry this week. I think BlogCarnival is having problems. It didn’t take my entry last week either and the carnival was very small. Please email your entries to submission(at)carnivalofthecats.com. We need entries, please.
What Othello said about Weekend Cat Blogging goes for Carnival of the Cats too. We’ve seen a decline in submissions and only two hosts have stepped up for hosting next year. We need more if it is to continue. Email mog(at)catblogosphere.com if you want to host it. Thanks.
Oh, and put in the dates you want to host it, that helps immensly.

What exactly is carnival of that cats? Being pretty new I don’t know too much about some of the stuff that goes on

We feel the same about Carnival of Cats as we do about WCB, we like the anchor on the weekend, with the nice write-ups, etc., and of course enjoy writing them ourselves
So we’d be happy to continue to host occasionally next year.

It is a weekly roundup of cat posts rather like Weekend Cat Blogging except posts can be any day not just on the weekend. The host writes up something about each post. Ok so I think I got it. So if you host carnival of the cats you will get an e-mail from pretty much like a cotc admin with a list of the people who want their posts on the carnival right? you can read the posts and give a little tidbit along with a link to each one and thats your cotc post? Tell me if I got anything wrong….that actually sounds really neat and if I have it right I would love to host it sometime!

You get an email from the cotc admin with instructions to log in to the mail server where you get the emails with links to the sites then you read the posts, you got the rest. It’s a little more complicated than using Mr Linky but you get more exposure. Carnival of the Cats is one of the oldest carnivals and the oldest cat carnival out there.

Ok I get it, it sounds really cute I like how you do little write ups of everyones posts. Plus sounds like a new way to meet new blogging cats! Ok if you still need hosts sometime I’ll host!

I hosted 3 times this year, and am willing to help out.
