I am very happy to announce that Captain Jack, Sir Dante & Fagin’s Cabin Boy has arrived.

Callum Andrew Higgins was born at 5:54am via emergency c-section. He weights 8 pounds, 8 ounces and 21 inches long. I don’t remember how to post pictures here (duh) so see pictures on mommy Catherine’s Facebook page. He is so beautiful!


This isn’t really “news” but we think it is a great idea, and since so many of our beans volunteer with shelters, we wanted to share it. The Animal Friends Humane Society that mommy volunteers with is doing a really neat “sale” for Black Friday. Since black cats are often overlooked at the shelter, they are encouraging beans to adopt black, or mostly black cats by offering them half off the regular adoption price as a “Black Friday” special. As an awesome House Panther myself, I think that is a really neat idea.
