Buddy Love, Harry’s brother has been missing for a week. Please send them good thoughts for Buddy’s safe and quick return. His family posted:
Hey, everyone. This is Harry…I want everyone to say a little purrayer for Buddy, he has been gone for a week. The last time we saw him was last Saturday. We have checked with the animal shelters and all over our neighborhood,  but we cannot find him. We are purraying that he will come home soon or that someone will find him and bring him back to us. We miss him very much.
Please don’t forget to purr for little Catzee who is also missing.
Will everyone leave tips on bringing them home safe and fast in the comments??? Then their families can both read them.

Put signs up all over your neighborhood. Also, check neighbors’ garages or sheds. Our neighbor’s cat got out and was missing for about 5 days. Turned out he got locked in another neighbor’s garage and the neighbor was then gone for a few days.
We are purraying so very hard that Buddy and Catzee both will return home safe and sound.

It will sound funny, but try visualizing the kitties running back toward home and feeling excited about coming home. Our neighbor kitty went missing for 4 days and our Momma tried this. He came home on the morning of the 5th day.
Also, if the kitty is scared or hurt, they may be hiding very near the house but afraid to come out. We’ve been told that sitting quietly outside with some of their food or a can of stinky tuna and waiting patiently sometimes works. Same thing with sitting quietly late at night with the door open and low lighting in the house – just make sure other kitties are secured in a room if they are not outdoor kitties.
We hope these ideas help and we’re sending purrs and positive visualizations that Buddy and Catzee will come home.

we heard that putting dirty clothes and the inside fluff from the vaccum outside helps them find their way home because it smells strongly like home.
stinky food works too. maybe tuna??

You could stop by local shelters and vets with a photo of the kitty that clearly shows their markings. At the shelter I volunteered at, such pictures were then checked against any kitties who had been brought in, and against pictures or descriptions from people who had found a kitty. It helped reunite some kitties with their families a lot faster.
Good luck! We are purring for them both to find their way home.

Please go door to door and have neighbors look in garages and sheds. This happened to us once many years ago with our Roger and he was stuck in an elderly man’s garage for a few days. He couldn’t hear him and he didn’t go in his garage very often. Is there a neighbor that’s on vacation where the could have run in when bags were being brought out?

Put up flyers further than you fink they’d go. Our furiend’s cat was only a coupla blocks away but cuz he ran there ascared, he didn’t know him’s way home. Sumone sawed the flyer an sawed him an called.
Acourse, when him gotted home, him eated an wanted out again right away
Purrs for safe returns an happy reunions!

I am so sorry that she isn’t home but, as always, inside kitties are much more safe than the inside-outside babies. I truly hope she is found. But if she makes it home, please keep her inside. It’s the only way to keep her alive.
Some hints to find her:
First, flyers in all of the animal hospitals, grocery stores and on telephone polls. Call your local radio station and as for a public service announcement. An ad in lost and found in your local paper. Set out a live trap. Cats generally don’t go too far so I’d knock on doors for about a five block radius of my home. If the neighbor kids haven’t gone back to school, gather them up and tell them that you will provide a reward for the one who finds the cat first. Tell them to work in pairs and for one to keep an eye on the cat and the other to come tell you where the cat is hiding. Tell them NOT to chase the cat. If they are back in school, possibly talk to their mothers and ask permission to have their children look after school.
