Update: Ethan is also being adopted by Leigh-Ann — the Shelter offered her a TWO-FER Deal! He is also on Page 3 of the New Hope Cats List, right before Sweetie Pie is blondie Ethan, ID #A1051997. What a cutie. Oh, I wish we could find them all homes.
Deb contacted the East Valley Shelter and Sweetie Pie has been moved off “death row”. The vet is checking his health and will release him soon. Karen (Grr, Midnight & Cocoa’s Mommy) can get Sweetie Pie tomorrow morning. Leigh-Ann is working on Sweetie Pie’s transportation from LA to Las Vegas.

I run the Wee Paws Animal Sanctuary in Las Vegas and will take the injured cat in this Craigslist post. This cat is being held at the East Valley Shelter in Los Angeles. I need to find someone to go to the shelter in Los Angeles, pay the adoption fee, and pick up the cat until I can arrange transportation for him. They may need to keep him today and possibly tomorrow. I don’t have any contacts in Los Angeles and don’t know where to find them, other than to reach out to blogland. I understand if this stuff is too depressing for you to repost, but figured there was no harm in asking. I may have answered my own question
Like Twitter and Facebook and other services this last week, Blogger is currently under a significant DDOS attack, and the 403 messages are a temporary prevention put in place to try to squash the attack.
We’ll keep you posted. Thanks for understanding!

My tiny heart breaks for Sweetie Pie…I sent some little green papers to help bring her to safety in las Vegas…please purrrr hard for her. She looks so terrified.

I was getting the same message, too. Thought it was something I was doing. Glad to know it wasn’t me.
Miss Peach, I just sent some $$$ to Leigh-Ann’s blog to help out.
Not only is Sweetie Pie coming to live there, but Ethan is as well. He is 10 years old and was scheduled to be put down because of his age. The shelter offered a “two-fer” deal, wasn’t that nice. Nice for Ethan, for sure.

So Thankful that Sweetie pie is going to be on her way to Las Vegas. God Bless Karen, she is always willing to help with the kitties in her area. Also thankful for Ethan too. He isnt’ old, he’s only ten.

Hey, my Dad sent some money via PayPal but didn’t get the normal place to send a message that it was for Sweetie Pie. I send the place an email. If anyone knows how to get in touch with Karen please tell her so she gets the moola. Thanks.
