American Humane’s 2009 Pets & Pals Photo Contest awards cash prizes for original photos that highlight pets, farm animals, shelter animals and those who care for them, and the human-animal bond. The entry period begins June 15.

Hurricane Pet Rescue is holding a drawing for a fabulous cat tree through the Cat Tree Store to benefit the homeless animals. Winner may pick any selection up to a $200 value. Tickets are $8 each and can be purchased through PayPal online. Ends August 1, 2009.

Maria has to re-home three gorgeous Devon cats, ideally they can remain together. See her post here, KC also made a post for her on the Purrs & Purrayers blog. They are located in Asheville, NC.

We’re raffling off a unique vexel portrait along with few other prizes to try and raise up some more money.  Melvin goes in for his big test next week and we’re going to be about $1000 in CareCredit debt. Tickets are 5 dollars each, or 5 for $20, or 10 for $35.
Auntie Deb (who is sick with the stomach flu) has two aukshuns posted, and wants to remind effurryone that June is “Double Points” month for the Fresh Step Paw Points. When you redeem your points, they are automatickally doubled. Cool, huh.
