Purrs needed…. Moki is fighting for his life and may not make it.

 

 

Moki is dangerously ill and may not recover. Please send lots and lots of purrs and purrayers. Mom Crystal writes…

Moki is getting worse by the moment. He is now under 5 pounds. As of Wednesday, the congestion has gotten worse and he is now refusing to eat or drink. At his current weight, he cannot afford to lose even a ounce. While I am going to continue to help Moki fight this with all that we’ve got, I think we all need to prepare ourselves for the possibility that Moki might not make it through this… If by Thursday morning he is still not eating, I am afraid we are going to have no other choice then to check him into the ER for a few days and hook him up to an IV to keep him hydrated and get some food into him. I have been force feeding him A/D today, but because he is so small, force feeding him for more than a day could be potentially very dangerous to him if we can’t get enough food in him and that’s not really a chance I think any of us wants to take.
