I’m sailing away, set an open course for the virgin sea
I’ve got to be free, free to face the life thats ahead of me
On board, I’m the captain, so climb aboard
We’ll search for tomorrow on every shore

I look to the sea, reflections in the waves spark my memory
Some happy, some sad
I think of childhood friends and the dreams we had

But somehow we missed out on that pot of gold

thank you, darling sophia. so very purrrfect, so very fitting. what a gift you have given us. meower dad is leaking now, too. nels was his kitty from the furry beginning, an’ he saw him through to the end. a *kiss* to you from each of us.

Sophia that is a great tribute to nels. And a fitting song to see him off the to the Rainbow Bridge! Cap’n Nels we will meet you again on the high seas and remember you always!

Sophia, that was just such a wonderful and sweet tribute to Nels … we are leaky eyed just thinking about how much Nels will be missed and how you honored him so much with this tribute. The Meowers and their Mom and Dad are in our thoughts and purrayers …

Yes, Sophia, a beautiful tribute to Nels. We are so sad for his family. We know they are missing him terribly.
