Sprout Memory Quilt - Just got off of the phone with Mom Lynne.  She has everyone’s squares and is sewing the memory quilt right now.  She will be sending me pictures later this afternoon.  I’ll post more later.  ~DKM

Justice Served for Richmond Feral Cats: Remember last Friday i’s posted about tha wonnerful Attorney fur Virginia, Wade Kizer, "throwing tha book" at tha mean pest company man that killed three outdoor cats by tha Fox News Station in Richmond. These cats were outdoor pets of tha station employees. Well, fanks to everyone who signed tha petition, the maximum penalty was handed down. The mean man, Mr. Kenneth Copi, got a 12-month suspended jail sentence and $250 fine per cat plus he lossed his license. Purrsonally, i wish they had thrown him in jail, but it’s a start. Attorney Kizer fanked Alley Cat Allies an effurryone who signed that petition.

i’s started a list of ways to pay tribute to sweet Sprout on Saturday. i’s also got grafiks ta post… several haf emailed about donating to help wif Sprout’s final medical and funeral expenses. There’s a Paypal button on mine post today, at tha very bottom. Purrs, KC

As mentioned on my blog yesterday, my Meowmie has been keeping her eyes open for a possible friend for me, during her search she came across a very sad advert from a respected breeder - Sharue Siamese - who is in the awful position of having to give up her cats due to ill-health. The poor lady is devastated, she has been breeding Meezers for 40 years now and she really loves her cats - they are little furry family members, not business assets.  Sadly she needs to rehome 4 boys and 3 girls.  I have put more details on my blog should anyone be interested. Poor little Mr. Milky isn’t doing well.  He can hardly open his eyes and they’re all runny; his feet aren’t doing well after the surgeries, and his fever is back.  He’s going back to the vet today and needs lots of purrs.
