Okay, into my second day of vacation and KC’s 2nd Gotcha Day, I woke up — really late — ready to post some great news. What I found was complete chaos on the CB.

I am trying to put things together, which normally isn’t easy for me and even more challenging when you are on high doses of anti-anxiety drugs. That said, I must apologize because this entire fiasco is my fault.

Robyn and Michelle (DKM) were thoughtful and came up with the idea of my taking a week off to rest. Stress was affecting my day-to-day life, with the sudden death of a close friend, preparations for back taxes, dealing with my hubby’s paralysis, watching Margaret’s battle against pancreatic cancer, the fundraisers, a friend with problems she couldn’t handle, just everything seemed to hit at one time.

In theory, they had a great idea. But they did not count on me, while overtly accepting the vacation, hanging on covertly. 

Robyn was stepping into the far background of CB due to health reasons. Michelle and I were getting ready to start running the CB together. We had some areas to discuss, mainly what gets posted and how due to space constraints. We had planned to discuss this after my vacation. But of course, I couldn’t let go and kept trying to run things from my "vacation" headquarters.

For the record, two things should be made clear. Michelle removed the post about Deb’s illness because she was concerned about Deb’s privacy. I was never asked to remove it from the CB. And I never felt that Michelle was attempting to "take over" the Cat Blogosphere.

The CB is, always has been, and always will be Robyn’s. It came from her heart and soul and that was what made it so wonderous. To those who think Robyn didn’t do anything since she wasn’t always posting, there is a ton of technical work that goes on in the background. It is Robyn that kept all that going, day after day. It’s not like a blog, where you just set it up and go.

It gave my little KC a platform to show her stuff as a reepurrter, which she was very proud to do. I like to think we made a good team. We really enjoyed it.

I’m not going to make any decisions about the future of CB right now, it is very upsetting to me. I will allow the days to post blank, unless another reepurrter wants to jump in and add things, and the linkies will be there for everyone to use.

If you have any comments to make, please leave them in the comment section. Stop harassing Michelle and Robyn. All they have done is all they ever did, just try to help and create a good place for us to gather. I cannot believe, do not want to believe, that someone would make death threats to Fiona and Orlando. If there are threats to be made, they should be directed toward me. I’m the one who messed everything up.
