Auntie Deb is at the Emergency V-E-T Hospital this morning. Please send lots and lots of purrs an purrayers. Hers doktor here in Houston finks she could haf "deep vein thrombosis" since hers haf had blood clots in hers legs before. But hers at hospital in Merry-land, where she lives now. That is furry serious an we’s glad hers where they can look after that.

Update:  It’s really sad that the nicest people are emailing with concern that they’ve done something wrong.  If you’re actually emailing that you’re concerned you did something, it’s probably not you. This came about because at Gree’s shower party, someone pretended that another animal in their family was dead, and distressed the other party-goers.  This is not an unusual behavior for that individual.  Apparently they think it is funny. We, however, do not. If you didn’t do that, then it’s not you that has prompted this announcement.  This stuff is distressing though — even 2 days later we were still getting emails asking if the supposedly "dead" creature is ok, out of concern.  THAT angers me that someone is taking advantage of people who care.  Everyone in this community is expected to behave maturely and respectfully towards each other at the CB blog and chat rooms. On your own blog, do what you like, it’s none of our business. This announcement is so that it’s very clear what the consequences of this sort of behavior will be in the future.  ~~ Mom Robyn
