Our momma kept thinking of this poem this morning while Stormie was making her journey:
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.

Dear Storm’s Family,
My heart really goes out to you. I’m pretty sure my Kali will be joining Storm at the Bridge soon and I know how much I’m going to miss her. I’m sorry that you had to say good-bye to your girl. I hope any pain you may be feeling goes away quickly so that the wonderful memories may take it’s place. Hang in there and please be good to yourselves.

We know the pain of letting go and going on.

I am so touched by this photo of Stormie in the sunshine. I never touch my screen but couldn’t help but stroke the little X on her beautiful nose as the fitting song was playing…good journey to you darling girl…Karla & Miss Peach

I just wanted to let you know that Storm went peacefully today…when we feel up to it we will put a post on her blog about our day…it was planned perfectly and everything was as we had hoped…we all said our goodbyes in our own special ways…Ben Vet and Ann Nurse were fantastic…now,my Meowmies and I are spending the rest of the day together, there are many tears and we all feel Storm’s absence hugely, but we take great comfort in the fact that she is now peaceful…we will try and find all the tributes over the next few days and thank you…
thank you all for making this a very special day for Stormie…we will never forget this outpouring of love for our special lady, Storm The Furry Fighter…we love you all xxx

This was a beautiful tribute, Sophia and the music was purrfect! We are so sad, but it’s nice to know she is at peace and running around with all those who came before!

Purrfect, Sophia. We didded one that said she’d always see sunshine at the Bridge. Sunshine for Stormie is just right.
