DANCER UPDATE!

Katie the Office Kat from Conway Area Humane Society here, reporting on Dancer the Cat’s progress. Dancer had surgery to repair the liver shunt on Tuesday, and he is recovering with friends. Attached is a pic shortly after his arrival home, not a happy kitty, but hopefully forever a healthy one. Eric and Flynn wrote: Eric is home furrom the V E T. He’s had his insides washed out but the V E T didn’t find any hairballs blocking him up. The V E T finks he might have a bowel infekshun cuz they’re thickened. We haf a new update on our blog.
Earlier UPDATE! Eric had a bad night, he couldn’t keep anything down, not even water. He is at the V E T’s having a GA to syringe out his bowels and see if they can find any other cause for his problems. I have to ring later this afternoon to find out how he is. At least the vet hasn’t rung me, so hopefully that is a good sign. I’ll update as soon as I know anything. Please keep purring and praying for him, we are all scared. Thanks Eric’s mum Jackie

Kat wrote: I have upsetting news from a best friend of mine.  Her grandfather was in his neighborhood, walking his little Pomeranian (sp?) Peachy when two…yes, TWO German Shepherds attacked her.  Don (the grandfather) also got bit on his face trying to pick Peachy up and save her.  Don had to have stitches in his face and Peachy is currently at the vet fighting for her life.  The dogs broke Peachy’s back and Don might have to make the horrible decision to have his baby girl euthanized this morning. Please send lots of purrs and purrayers their way during this difficult time!  Thank you! Kat
