Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there.
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that swiftly blow.
I am the diamond glint
on newly fallen snow.
I am the sunlight
on ripened grain.
I am the soft and gentle autumn rain.
When you wake from sleep in the early morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft, starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there.

I am shocked and saddened..I didn’t even know she was ill. I have commented over on she and Victor’s blog..but I’m just so sorry for all of them.

We went to bed with Victor’s words that she probably just ate too fast. When we started reading this morning she was at the vet and in guarded or critical condition. What a horrible shock for her family. She was a very loved cat.

Oh dear how very very sad this news is today about poor Bonnie going to the bridge. I am going to purrr for comfort for their family. it is so hard to lose a beloved friend so suddenly…

I am shocked to hear the news. I was only just there at their blog yesterday because Victor said that Bonnie wasn’t well. I thought that was a minor ailment and really didn’t think it was something that would send her over the Bridge. Purrs to Victor and the family in this sad and difficult time.

We are very sad to hear the news of Bonnie’s sudden death. We will keep Victor and his family in our thoughts and prayers and hope this brings some comfort to them.

I am so sad to learn this news.
I loved Bonnie so much.
I know that Caesar was there at the bridge to gently take her paw and guide her to paradise.
I will purr and pray for her family, her mom and dad, her boy and for Victor her tabby buddy.

Bonnie U. was adorable. We have lost 3 really wonderful kitties in the last few years, and I really miss them too. Bonnie is with the Eternal now, and like your expressive poem says, she can be heard/felt in the sounds of nature. We had to bury our darlings and put grave markers down, but we had the same feeling as you about their eternal presence in the skies and the clouds. Our hearts go with you in your loss.
