Mu shue needs purrs and purrayers! 1:10pm EST - Mom Robyn just talked to Mom Laura. Poor Mu shue has to stay at the v-e-t tonight. He’s got elevated kidney and white cell counts, as well as diarrhea and dehydration from his ordeal with the terrible fire. :( Fortunately his sisfurs Lilly Lu and Iris are doing good and don’t have to go to the v-e-t. Phew! Let’s all purr really really hard for Mu shue and send purrayers up and good kitty energy and everything!!!
Cat Friends Helping Friends (CFHF) is running a special to benefit Laura who lost so much on Friday April 11, due to a fire at her apartment complex. Laura is the mom to Lilly Lu, Iris and Mu shue who have been blogging since 2006.
Darling Millie’s mom has graciously donated a Gizzy Quilt to raffle specifically to benefit Laura.
The raffle is being held online at http://www.catfriendshelpingfriends.com/ and runs through midnight EST, April 18, 2008.
While CFHF was formed with the mission to assist our fellow cats, rabbits, dogs or other small house animals, in light of this extraordinary event we are doing this to help Laura directly, even when we still did not know if Lilly Lu, Iris, and Mu shue would be found. We are happy to say that they have been found and are doing well.
Everyone at CFHF hopes that you can open your hearts to assist Laura and the kitties in her time of need.

Cats have asked, so we found out for you! Mommie ML (kc AT catblogosphere DOT com) and Mom Robyn (catsnmom AT houseofthemostlyblackcats DOT com) both have Mom Laura’s current address if you want to send something for Mu shue, Lilly Lu, and Iris. She needs basic cat care stuff: beds, blankets, litter, water fountain, litter boxes, soft side carriers for Lilly Lu and Iris. Especially needed are soft items like beds and blankets as none of these are salvageable from the aftermath of the fire. Of course, money for Mu shue and Lilly Lu’s medications are needed, plus the vet appointments needed after their ordeal. You can help out financially by getting Gizzy Quilt Raffle tickets, at Lilly Lu’s blog, or by participating in one of the Cat Auctions for them.

I am sorry to inform you all I have lost the internet. I have left a post on my site. I probably wont be able to get online for at least a few months. Churchill is doing well and is tearing up my rug well. I have some nice holes in my carpet. I am going to miss all you cats , but i will have you all in my hearts, through my tough times. I will try to check Churchy’s site at least once a week, from my neighbors house, But i dont want to be pushy on them. Love from the Bottom of my Heart, Rhiannon.
