9am EST Sunday: Mom Laura left this note in the Chatzy room very early this morning.
Laura: "hello. thank you for all your purrs and prays i am okay. My apt did not look nearly as bad as the one behide me is gone. Thank you all for you thoughs and doations. I was one of the "lucky one" i have renter insuince to cover some of my stuff. stuff can be repllaced I am okay i just need some space to sort things out there alot of diffent things going on in my head trying to get though all my bills and trying to figgger out what i had why it wont cover everything it is a start. I am hoping to be able to get in on monday. the building is safe. I am making missing posters"

The most damage was in the front where i am was mostly smoke and water damage.  No news yet [about the kitties] I need a few days just to get things in order please understand my heart is broken."
Note from Mom Robyn: Please folks, while we don’t yet know anything one way or another about Mu Shue, Lilly Lu, and Iris, it’s incredibly painful to Laura to talk as if they may have gone to the Rainbow Bridge.  Until we know that, please don’t mention it to her or on her blogs, it’s just too painful.

Gabrielle, Tatyana, Herbie wrote: We wants to report that our Mom, Alexi,turns six years old today!! YAY!  We are inviting efurrycat to a drop-in to honor her starting at 2p.m. Eastern Time and continuing until…please come if you’re able.
We will, of course, have refreshments!  Any gifts you might bring, please send to Mom Laura. We are sure our mom, Alexi, would agree.

Noted in Saturday’s Noos and probably overlooked in the flurry of postings: Her Majesty, of The Feline Sextet, went to the Rainbow Bridge. It was actually two weeks ago, but her Hooman Mommy just learned of it yesterday (4/12). Her Majesty was almost 14 years old and went to sleep and never woke up. Her mommy is heartbroken, please stop by and leave some purrs for her.

 

News of sweet Miral going to the Bridge and a beautiful tribute are in posts below this one. It has been a very sad weekend in the Cat Blogosphere.
