We’ve copied from the chat tonight so that we don’t have to repeat it. It’s heartbreaking to think Mu Shue, Lilly Lu, and Iris may not have gotten out.

 Mom Deb of the Taylor CatSSSSS spoke to the fire dept in Framingham where Laura lives.

deb: oh, I just talked to the fire department
deb: this particular fireman had actually been in Laura’s apartment

deb: the fire completely destroyed the apartment and he says that he saw no evidence of any live beings
deb: I’m so sorry
deb: he said that their only chance was if they managed to get out of the apartment sliding glass doors
deb: this man had actually been there and he said it was bad….really bad

Deb is working with Laura to get her in touch with the fire dept so they can double check and get more info.  We’ll let you know as we know more.  Laura is staying at her mother’s house, although her mother and her fiance are both out of town.  She is doing ok, all things considered, but it appears the building is unsafe and no one will be able to return there to live, so she apparently doesn’t have a home.

11pm EST No more news tonight except that the Humane Society and Animal Control should be going in in the morning. We are all purring hard that the fireman was mistaken or that they got out somehow. We’re also purring hard for Mom Laura who’s pregnant with twins.
