To participate by submitting a post to the week’s WCB, go to the week’s blog host and put your post link in the post where they ask for participants. The WCB weekend roundup usually starts sometime Friday and the WCB roundup post is made Saturday or Sunday. Yep, we cats aren’t so grate at clocks! hehehe 

Our dear friend Sher of What Did You Eat , who’s been a regular at WCB forever, passed away suddenly July 20, 2008.  She left holes in our hearts.  Have something good to eat and pet a cat in her honor.

Those of us in the food blogging community who were very good friends with Sher are holding an online tribute to Sher.   We are asking people to find a recipe on her blog that they would like to make and to post about it on July 27th, the day the Bread Baking Babes where Sher was one of our ring leaders were to have revealed our bread of the month.
I would like to invite the Weekend Cat Blogging community to participate in that posting date.   I know it would have tickled Sher to see so many kitties and their moms and dads in the kitchen cooking together.

If you want to host, please read this: We haf several bloggers hoo does reggylar WCB and ALL of them has said they don’t wanna be a WCB hog, but wantsta help out. So if yoo wants to do it any weekend, let us kno, one of the reggylars may want a week off anyways!!! Breadchick Mary and LB have kindly offered to take the WCB weekends that Sher had planned to do. Thank you Mary and LB. That’s so sweet of you!

Weekend Cat Blogging Roundup wuz started by a Clare at Eatstuff.net so the weekend cat bloggin wuz a speshul fing an not a dailee fing. Clare is no longer postin to her bloggy, but Sarah and Tiggy and ofurs kept it goin. Lotsa WCB folkses are peeple who just blog bout their kitties they luvs on the weekends. But we cats haf started joinin in too and they’s maded us furry welcome.

ANY cat post speshully wif pikshurs can be in WCB.

Sarah and Tiggy have been busy with life stuff distracting them from WCB. We furgive them for that fur sure! It happens to all of us sumtimes. Us cats at the Cat Blogosphere haf volunteered to keep the schedule until Sarah and Tiggy (or somebody else) wants to keep it.  So here’s the schedule for 2007 so far.
