LILLY LU UPDATE: Rocky wrote: Mama Laura’s computer is cracked so we won’t hear much on her blog for the next week. But Lilly Lu came home tonight from the veterinary clinic at Tufts University, and good news so far! Dr. Cornejo is pretty sure it isn’t cancer! She thinks it might be a benign tumor on Lilly’s parathyroid gland causing her calcium levels to be so high, and the high calcium would cause her bladder stones. They’ll know for sure when test results are back next week and will decide then whether to go ahead with the surgery. But the best news is that the veterinary specialist feels that either way, what Lilly has can be treated!!

There will be guided tours of my garden, refreshments, lots of sunny spots for cats to relax, AND a tour of the lovely gardens around Point Loma and Shelter Island, here in San Diego. Last year was a blast, and we even saw the world famous Wild Parrots of Point Loma. Everyone is invited!!
