Tank you so much fur purrin’ & prayin’ fur Delilah. She haz a message fur evfurry one dat I would likes to passee on:
Thank you so much for visiting while I was so very ill. Mommy thinks I almost died Friday night, so I am rebounding quickly. Mommy now believes I might be allergic to a wasp sting. It was nice to hear that all the kitties of the blogosphere were purring & praying. It helped me to have heart, and my mommy was so appreciative for all of the love. We hope you will join us for Dr Tweety’s Valentine’s cruise. More details will be posted later. Many blessings, Delilah
Patches must go to the vet today for tests and teeth cleaning. Casper’s Mom is worried about what they might find. Also, Casper’s Mom lost a friend yesterday and is sad. Please keep them in your prayers.

Don’t furrget to go meet the charming Churchill. He was just adopted by two wonnerful folks. He was abused and abandoned and is gonna need some vet work to repair hims. We’s got a Paypal Donation button on hims bloggie. He would like to hear from you, so just stop by and say hi. And maybe send him a prayer or two.
HELP NEEDED: Hi, I was sent to you by Andree at meeyauw. I have two beautiful cats, brother and sister, that we have had for about six years. I am suffering from severe Crohn’s disease that has been exacerbated over the years by Lyme disease. We live in Kingston, Rhode Island, considered to be one of the worst areas for Lyme. After long debate and soul searching we have come to the conclusion our two cats are bringing ticks into the house which in turn are getting on us and infecting us. We use frontline religiously but the ticks only die if they bite the cats, it doesn’t prevent them from hitching a ride into the house. So with much sadness we are looking for a new home for our guys. We do not think they would take to being confined indoors and we have concerns about them creating the same problem for other family (my daughter has been hospitalized twice for Lyme, my son did a year of antibiotics for neurological Lyme and my husband just finished a six months course of antibiotics for late stage Lyme). This is a very hard decision for us and difficult for the kids. I have been sick on and off for the last six years. I have to make a change and unfortunately this is one of the first steps to limit our exposure to ticks. Thanks so much for any help/advice you can offer… Medelise Reifsteck [if anyone in or near that area can help, please email her at dreif6 AT cox.net… Purrs, KC]

Just to let you know…
We posted the information about the two kitties in Kingston on a couple Catster groups we’re members of. We figured it couldn’t hurt, and might even help some.
Hope someone can take them in.

I saw Churchill today, and he is doing well. He will have his surgery either Tuesday or Thursday. We found out that his elbow has been broken for over 3 weeks, This is going to be a very hard surgery for the vet to do. She is either going to pin and wire is bone back in place , or take the bone out completely and reattach his tendon. Both will leave him with arthritis, But he is being well taken care of, and everyone at the clinic just adores him, They say he is the nicest cat they have ever come across. I am glad he found me. Thank you for the puuuurs and prayers
