They have not been able to be online at all times and have been unable to correspond to their friends. As soon as the problem is fixed they will be visiting again.

Colleen, mommy to Charlemagne and Tamar wrote: Here’s the update on sweet little Giuseppe – the kitten who needed open heart surgery. Thanks to everyone who donated! On behalf of everyone at Bideawee-the two-legged and the four-legged-thank you for all of the amazing support you have provided. Giuseppe has melted the hearts of so many and we have been so touched at the outpouring of love and support he has received. We are thrilled to report that Giuseppe has undergone the life-saving open-heart surgery he needed! Thanks to our caring supporters, our sweet little kitten, Giuseppe is recovering with us in intensive care after undergoing the costly and risky procedure. He is getting lots of TLC from the medical staff and everyone at Bideawee is doting on Giuseppe and he in turn just adores the attention! Giuseppe’s heart specialist has taken great care of him throughout the complex procedure and is very optimistic about the future. Even with the wonderful care, and although he is comfortable, Giuseppe is not completely out of the woods. He will go back to the heart specialist over the next couple of weeks for an ultrasound to see if the operation was successful. If the surgery didn’t take, he may have to go through another surgery. We are all hoping for the best and it is comforting to know that so many gracious people are pulling for his complete recovery. Giuseppe is truly our Valentine’s miracle and we are forever grateful for all the support he has received. However, because his condition is still critical, Giuseppe is still in need of your support. Please donate now to help us to continue to provide Giuseppe with all the care he deserves. We would like to thank everyone who had a part in working to mend this broken, but BIG heart, in order to save a tiny life in desperate need. Your support gives Giuseppe, and those like him, a chance to live a healthy and normal life. Let Giuseppe and his mended heart remind us all of the true meaning of Valentine’s Day: unconditional love.

Hi, all. We’re not sure how many of you read Musings of a Mad Macedonian, but they have really sad post up today in honor of Maximus, who was lost, sort of, five years ago.
We’ll all be restless tonight, we fear, thinking about Max. Wondering how he is, how he did.
