Meet Churchill
Posted by KC under helping friends
Meet Churchill. No wonder they decided to keep him. Very handsome mancat. I’ll get more details about donations to help him, as Michael and Rhiannon are on a very limited budget and would appreciate any help with their new kitten. Will also get them to start a blog so we can keep up with Churchill’s progress and adventures once he is healed.

NO BITES OR OPEN SORES TO SPEAK OFF, SO WE BROUGHT HIM HOME IN HOPES OF NURSING HIM BACK TO HEALTH. WE HAD HIM FOR 2 DAYS AND NOTICED SOME IMPROVEMENT. STILL HE WOULD NOT WALK ON HIS FRONT LEFT PAW. WE ARE VERY LOW IN COME SO WE CALLED AROUND AND TRIED TO GET DONATIONS FOR HIS X-RAYS AND SO ON. WELL IT SEEMS WE HAVE HIT A BRICK WALL. WE GOT SOME HELP FROM V.S.A FOR HIS X-RAYS, WHICH SHOW HE HAS A BROKEN ELBOW, BUT NOW HE WILL NEED SURGERY AND KNOW NO ONE WILL HELP US. THIS CAT IS SO SWEET AND CUDDLEY. IT TOOK ALL OF 1 DAY TO FALL FOR HIM. IF YOU KNOW OF ANYWHERE WE CAN GO FOR HELP PLEASE CONTACT ME AT MY E-MAIL (MSC698CC AT YAHOO.CO.UK). THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. I just talked to the Vet today On Churchills condition. They did a second X-ray of him to make sure they was no other damage to his bones. His Right foot is swollen, they think from also being hit by a car. They have completely Vaccinated him and he is on antibiotics now. They say he is very lucky that he was not hurt more. If you could please send me the blogger Id appreciate it, as Michael has no clue ( those words himself) As for donations I have given a vet address from michaels Email address. I think it would be wise to send dontations there, only because we dont have a bank account, and we dont want anyone to think we are out to get a quick dollar. I thank everyone for being so kind to us. My oldest daughter is moving in with her father soon and I have been upset, So I really think i found him for a reason, to help me through my though times. Surgery will be Schedualed for next week sometime, and then we will have lot of homecomming pictures to upload for you all =) . I am glad to have found a community who cares as much about cats as I do. Thank you again Rhiannon

we don’t know the details, but have Michael and Rhiannon checked to see if someone has been looking for Churchill? Sometimes the abandoned stray that shows up in your yard is someone’s much-loved kittie who made a (unwise) break out the door.

We had a neighbor who had two cats , and abandoned them about 4 months ago when she moved. We believe that Churchill was the kitten we used to see in the window everyday. Her Other cat that was also left behind is still roaming around where we live and we are in the process of trying to catch it and bring him to a rescue league.
