I Can Has Cheeseburger

Today, on I Can Has Cheeseburger, some adorable Sphynx kittens and their mom are featured.
No surprise, some very ignorant humans are leaving some very mean, cruel comments. 
Could some of the wonderful cat bloggers go over there and help to educate them on how wonderful Sphynx are? I am doing my best to educate people, and I know that some people don’t care to learn or to listen, but I have to try. It hurts when people say Sphynx are "the most disturbing thing I’ve ever seen." Thanks.

Well, all I can is if a sweet sphynx is the “most disturbing thing” an individual has ever seen, they must have never watched the evening news, read a newspaper, or been out in the world.
When I first saw the adorable Dragonheart, my first thought was, there’s a really different type of cat — how cute. I was mesmerized by his toes and little face in particular. Now the more I know him, the more beautiful he becomes. Guess beauty — and ugly — truly is in the eye of the beholder.

We added a comment DragonHeart but it hasn’t shown up, if it’s not there later we’ll add it again! We saw lots of other good comments too (Kaze and Hendrix were there)!

We went over and left our comment, DragonHeart. I don’t even like the title, “Gollum”.
It’s amazing the kittens are so pink when they are born, they do look like little rats or mice (which are adorable), but they are all wrinkled. Just so unique.
You are an amazing cat, DH, and we all love you. Maybe we should post a warning on your blog from now on, so the easily disturbed individuals can just stay away. (sarcastically) Wouldn’t want them to have to gaze upon a Sphnyx without proper warning, might traumatize them.

Don’ worry, DH, we posted too. Nobean is gonna be mean to enny kind of kitty if we’re arownd. Dey is just stoopid beans and yore rite, we has to edyoomacate dem. Fanks for letting us know. We usually just look at de pix, we don’t reed comments.

These mean beans have very restricted outlook and no room for expansion in their brain. I hesitate to say intellect. Don’t feel bad, DH, we all love you and Sphynx breed in general. Like KC, I also dislike the title.

We’ve never really visited that site, and we couldn’t even understand what anyone was saying! Yuk - we got out of there fast!

Those little kittens were so sweet and what a good momma cat. We liked the picture but we found it hard to understand the writing also. It’s sad that there is some mean in some of those comments. We think that all kitties are beautiful.

I just finished reading ALL the comments at ICHC; some of them I could not decipher. On the other hand, I COULD read and understand everything written by the Cat Blogosphere gang. We are an educated AND friendly group. There be pillow poopin’ to anyone who disses our dear Dragonheart.

I agree with all the comments here. Ugly is not a kitty. It is human, and it is in the news. I am sorry about the comments, I didn’t realize they were being said. I get the daily morning e-mail and it has no comments. I’m glad I didn’t read them. The first thing on my mind when I saw that photo was Dragonheart and his new baby brother. The second thing? I wish human (my) mothers were as loving. We’d have a lot fewer problems.
