This came thru in a letter forwarded to Celene of Hurricane Pet Rescue:

My name is Robin and I’m helping the main contact person, Barbara.
The hoarder is in North Hollywood. There are about fifty cats and six dogs in the small place. They are living in their urine and feces, it’s even in their water. Some have been found dead already. There are two pit mixes who need out very badly as it would open up space for the others. We’d like to get them out before Tuesday when the hoarder, who is out of town, returns.
There are some in pretty bad shape and some adoptable. We need places to put them. We need litter, cat boxes (there are only 3 for fifty cats), food, but especially volunteers to go over to the place and help feed/clean the animals, etc. If anyone wants to come over and handpick the animals they would like to take, that’s fine. Or come and see the situation. Thank you for your concern, Robin 

Grr, Midnight & Cocoa’s Mom Karen has already volunteered to help, and I am sending a donation to help cover some of the medical bills for the little guy pictured below.

Be sure and specify the payment is for The LA Cat Rescue. 100% of all donations go straight to for cat rescue work and supplies. All incidental charges, postage, etc. are paid by me so they have all the funds to  help these poor cats.



Barbara’s email is not currently working. If you have any questions for them, please leave as comments here. They will be checking in periodically. Right now they are in desperate need of foster homes and transportation, plus volunteers to help move the animals out.
