Today’s the day Beau finds out the results of his blood tests. Keep purraying fur him ‘n Mom Cathy.

UPDATE: Here’s what I know SO FAR about Beau:

  • They are still working to figure out the problem with his muscle tone.
  • His pee and blood results are in. As always, he is in the low stages of normal with his iron level, which means he is bordering on being anemic. Otherwise his blood appears to be fine.
  • He has a bladder infection and will be on antibiotics for 10 days. 
  • Part of the money to pay off his big bill must be used instead for antibiotics. And there is still a possibility of a muscle biopsy and additional tests later next week.
  • I pick up antibiotics tomorrow and call Tuesday about the muscle tone problems.
  • Beau has been sleeping under my vanity for most of the day, except for occasional trips to the loo, and for crunchies. He has eaten most of a can of Garden Medley SG in the last 24 hours.

Hello fellow Cat Bloggers! I am Nikita, the 9 1/2 year old Co-Blogger of Musings of a Mad Macedonian. I will be familiar, from another, recently retired, 5 1/2 yr. old blog, but now Daddy & I started a new place, and new direction, where people, and cats, who remember us from before can feel superior when they figure out where from. ;-D At the new place I finally get my name "Officially" attached to my own posts just like Daddy!
In my 1st months worth of entries, all 7 of them, I introduce myself, and write about efforts to help pets affected by the fires in California, among other things.
All my posts can be found in a Category Archive, which acts as a "Blog within a Blog" and is called Nikita’s Place. I still have my blogrolls, too!
Daddy made a nice, mysterious, story to introduce himself to our readers, and I have a role in it, too! The Coming of the Mad Macedonian. Come by and say hello from time to time. The catnip is premium high quality, and the munchies are Science Diet Dry. ;-D Nikita
