GOOD & BAD NOOS FOR BEAU!

We are back. It was both good news and bad news. The good news is he is normal weigh (12.3 lbs), and nothing "jumped out" at the vet in his x-rays. HOWEVER, the bad news is that there was a problem with his muscle tone. The vet said his muscles were hard, and not like they were supposed to be. He’s not sure what to make of this and won’t know until the blood test results come back, and he consults with some other vets about everything. So, we won’t know an actual diagnosis until Friday, but there is an outside possibility he has a muscular disease. There again, IF he does we won’t know what that means until Friday. He may also have to go back for a muscle biopsy, which means another big bill. (Attached are the pages to this vet bill to post, if desired, since the CB is helping pay it/them - it was a total of $358.10. I will post it tomorrow on Beau’s site, but today is for Mia.)

Speaking of Mia, I would like to do a short memorial service Saturday on PPP chatzy. Short so that it won’t interfere too much with parties… say noonish Eastern time, so overseas cats can participate. Let me know if this is okay and if you would like to help. I spoke with Jen this morning and she is taking this hard. Mia did have a short illness, but because of her age, there was nothing really they could do for her. Jen just wasn’t able to talk about it/share that news… and I don’t know the details of the illness, just that she went downhill fast. She crossed the bridge an hour before Jen got home from work but Mia’s grandpa was with her when she crossed so she wasn’t alone. Jen’s dad is also having knee surgery next week so we really need to keep them in our prayers. Please post all this information, and the bill too if desired. It’s been a long, hard day and I need a nap. Thanks! Cathy & Beau
