Doc Holiday has published her 2nd Position Paper, this one dealing with the fact that all doggies & cats need to have guardian -care-giving staff established legally. Cats don’t need to be worried about what Might happen. They need to be free to enjoy the here and now. — Doc Holiday for President! UPDATE ON DOC’s CAMPAIGN: I have my first major endorsement. Unfortunately I am now in the same league as Hillary Clinton. I have a bad feeling it’s an attitude thing. The really exciting thing is the quality of the endorsement. The enlightened human who endorsed me is a very important political wonk! Doc Holiday, Purrfect for America! Now, back to my nap. (Yawn)

Jody of Cat Eyes writes: You are incredible people!  If any of you ever come to Oregon you can stay with me!  Hope, the injured mom, is doing great (see original story here).  She’ll be leaving the vet to go to a foster home tomorrow.  Her kittens, here with me, are doing great, too. My gosh they are wonderful. Thank you so much. The money will go towards Hope’s vet bill, if that’s ok.  It’s kind of high. We’ll just have to figure out how to get it onto the bill the best way. UPDATE! How Jody spended hers Labor Day weekend - saving a trapped, injured kitty: Spent Saturday digging a tunnel under a cement slab, while under a porch, to get an injured house kitty out.  I hope she’s going to be ok.  She seemed ok, but touchy on her side.  The owners think she has a broken bone, maybe hip or pelvic bone, and she’s going to the vet today.  They are going to let me know afterwards, what was wrong with her.  Am kind of bruised up!
