More Monday Noos
Posted by Daisy under blogging cat noos
I just heard from Skittles about Ballou (pronounced by-you), a very handsome and friendly buckskin, who is very ill with colic. Skittles’ pet human is very sad and tired. Skittles writes that Ballou used to be the personal horse of Senor Sandoval at Rancho El Topo, in the Sierra Juarez mountains of Baja. Senor Sandoval was a true horse whisperer, and a true gentleman. He passed away almost two years ago, and Rancho El Topo has not been the same since. Skittles’ pet human and her friends loved Senor Sandoval very much, and they miss him.
Now Ballou is very ill. He has colic, and after 1 month of treatment, he is worse. Skittles’ pet human helped walk him until late last night. The vet could not help much. Skittles would like to ask the cat blogosphere to help purr and pray for the recovery of Ballou. You can go here to read all about the wonderful Ballou.
UPDATE! Guess what!? I just heard back from Skittles with good news! Here is what she said:
"Thank you for posting the request for prayers for Ballou. They are apparently working. Ballou is stable, and will be moving to an indoor facility tomorrow to control his environment a little better. Thanks to the cat blogosphere for their thoughts and prayers."
