Marilynn, we’ve pretty much chucked our commercial food and feed our kitties homemade chicken cat food. They love it, and they’re much healthier now, with more energy, shinier coats, less shedding, less overweight/underweight etc. There’s a link to the recipe we use in the sidebar of our blog.
At first it seems like a lot of trouble to make it, but if you make a huge batch once every two weeks and freeze it in portion-sized snack bags, it quickly becomes as routine as cleaning litter pans!

FL – I bet Itchmo got caught in the same set of “upgrades” as the CB blog here did for a while. They’re up now.
