Wait, my mom didn’t just renig on helping Carol. The landlady wasn’t satisfied with what mom sented her and wants mom to sign a “guarantor agreement” saying dat she would pay da rent til da end of da lease no matter what. Effun if Carol moves out! Mom’s not rich and can’t afford to make dat kinda promise. And Carol is not legally being evicted. Da landlord only wants her to clean up da apartment so dat da neighbors will stop complaining. She will still haf a home after da 28th.
