Purrs Needed! Taffy is eating better right now, though we still don’t know what the problem is. And her left eye started weeping cloudy white last night. We think it’s back to the vet on Monday. ~Laura & Taffy

Abby was diagnosed with IBD. She has been very sick the past few weeks, but is working on getting better. Bet some kitty purrs and woofie grrrs would help lots!

My cat Sassy just recently had her annual checkup. The tests show that she is a little dehydrated and the vet is advising I try to find ways to get more water in her. I know I want to get her a fountain since she used to like to drink out of the sink. But I have no idea what brand, kind, style, etc. Also, if the readers have any other “get water down the cat” advice. They can go to my blog for full info. I know that I am lucky in that this is just a minor health problem, but she is my baby, and I am worrying of course. ~Mom Brenda

Help Needed! I am at my wits end with a cat that I recently adopted. This cat wandered up to a house near mine. I fell in love with her and named her Sassafras. We think she was with dropped off. She’s not feral she’s too sweet and came to us too easily. I took her to the vet and had her spayed and all of her shots, along with a checkup.
(1st problem) She took to the litterbox right away. About a month ago we went out of town and she started pooping in my plants. I cleaned the pots and put all new soil in them, but she still does it and I’m not happy. I clean her litterbox daily.
(2nd problem) She may have some kind of acid reflux. She throws up all the time, even when she hasn’t eaten. It rarely is hair, most of the time it’s just a tan colored yuckyness.
I don’t want to put her outside because she has really come out of her shell and she is very close to me. I have come to love her and it is too cold to put her outside right now. Please help!!!!!! ~Anne (email at Annidote_99 AT yahoo.com or leave a comment here)

My cat Sassy just recently had her annual checkup. The tests show that she is a little dehydrated and the vet is advising I try to find ways to get more water in her. I know I want to get her a fountain since she used to like to drink out of the sink. But I have no idea what brand, kind, style, etc. Also, if the readers have any other “get water down the cat” advice. They can go to my blog for full info. I know that I am lucky in that this is just a minor health problem, but she is my baby, and I am worrying of course. ~Mom Brenda

Help Needed! I am at my wits end with a cat that I recently adopted. This cat wandered up to a house near mine. I fell in love with her and named her Sassafras. We think she was with dropped off. She’s not feral she’s too sweet and came to us too easily. I took her to the vet and had her spayed and all of her shots, along with a checkup.
(1st problem) She took to the litterbox right away. About a month ago we went out of town and she started pooping in my plants. I cleaned the pots and put all new soil in them, but she still does it and I’m not happy. I clean her litterbox daily.
(2nd problem) She may have some kind of acid reflux. She throws up all the time, even when she hasn’t eaten. It rarely is hair, most of the time it’s just a tan colored yuckyness.
I don’t want to put her outside because she has really come out of her shell and she is very close to me. I have come to love her and it is too cold to put her outside right now. Please help!!!!!! ~Anne (email at Annidote_99 AT yahoo.com or leave a comment here)

Emergency Help Needed for Baker!

A few days ago one of my cats, Baker, fell 9 feet off the top of the pantry to the tile floor below. I kept a close eye on him, but he got worse and he walks like those old cartoon cats at Halloween, with a severely arched back. I took him in yesterday and he has a protruding disk and needs surgery. I need about $600.00. I feel like a cyber beggar, but do you think the CB might chip in? I feel badly asking but otherwise Baker doesn’t have a chance. I really don’t want to lose another cat. Emergency Help Needed for Baker!

A few days ago one of my cats, Baker, fell 9 feet off the top of the pantry to the tile floor below. I kept a close eye on him, but he got worse and he walks like those old cartoon cats at Halloween, with a severely arched back. I took him in yesterday and he has a protruding disk and needs surgery. I need about $600.00. I feel like a cyber beggar, but do you think the CB might chip in? I feel badly asking but otherwise Baker doesn’t have a chance. I really don’t want to lose another cat. 2 Web Censorship Bills in Congress in the US: SOPA and PIPA

Join us in protesting SOPA!  This affects all of us with blogs! Post something like this on your blog or if you can go with a blackout.  (And please pass this on!)

There is a bill in Congress that will affect your rights on the web and will censor all web sites, blogs, etc.  In a nutshell :

SOPA explicitly states that companies will be liable for everything their users post. Sites like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, Wikipedia, or any sites that allow user generated content CANNOT exist under these laws. Immediately after this bill is passed, you will see the media mafia (MPIAA, RIAA, etc) replacing websites like Wikipedia with commercialized encyclopedia software. Mainstream media outlets will not cover this bill because they are the ones lobbying for it.

Emergency Help Needed for Baker!

A few days ago one of my cats, Baker, fell 9 feet off the top of the pantry to the tile floor below. I kept a close eye on him, but he got worse and he walks like those old cartoon cats at Halloween, with a severely arched back. I took him in yesterday and he has a protruding disk and needs surgery. I need about $600.00. I feel like a cyber beggar, but do you think the CB might chip in? I feel badly asking but otherwise Baker doesn’t have a chance. I really don’t want to lose another cat.
